Cyndi Dodson is a University of Tennessee alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Sociology. She also did graduate work in counseling psychology and worked as a mental health center counselor. As her family grew, Cyndi decided to become a stay-at-home mom, but works as a part-time fitness instructor while her kids are in school.
The truth of God’s love, the day-to-day joy (and challenges!) of motherhood, and simple ways to help organize the otherwise hectic lives of women are topics Cyndi frequently speaks on to encourage busy moms. She is very passionate about the role mothers play in society, finding their “true beauty” and identity so they can be the best mom possible. Through her delightful humor, engaging testimony and scripture teaching, Cyndi invites each woman to experience how the unconditional love of Jesus can change her life.
While on a medical mission trip in El Salvador, Cyndi felt God’s calling that she needed to take her life in a new direction. It was after that trip that her book “Finding the Me in MomMe” was released. She has a desire to share God’s grace and compassion with women and help them realize their identity in Christ - it’s a journey and not a destination.
In her spare time, you can find Cyndi spending time with her husband of 15 years, Chris and their 3 fabulously fun daughters, Taylor, McKenzie and Reagan. She can also be found cheering loudly at her daughters’ ballgames, relaxing with a good book and hanging out with friends. She loves to travel anywhere in the world, especially to the beach!
